Newquay

Newquay is famous for its coastline and has numerous beaches, with several excellent for surfing.  The nearest beach is Fistral which is approximately 15 minutes walk away. Newquay Zoo and Waterworld are popular attractionsand are just around the corner from us.The National Trust Elizabethan Manor of Trerice, is also near, it is a beautiful property in a very peaceful setting. For families with children Dairyland is an award winning farm activity park only two  miles away. There are many activities nearby for everyone to enjoy, whatever the weather.

Things to do close by in Newquay

Within just two minutes walk from the apartments we have the picturesque Gannel Estuary which floods at high tide, there are walks to Crantock Village and the popular Crantock beach where the river meets the sea.

Five minutes away are Trenance gardens and boating lake with its ducks and swans, you can relax here and enjoy a meal and drink at the Lakeside Cafe. Trenance stables have horse riding trips along the Estuary and cater for beginners or the more experienced  rider.

A ten minute walk from the apartments and you are at the award winning Newquay Zoo, Newquay Water World, and the Heron tennis centre with both indoor and outdoor courts, also alongside the courts are mini golf and pitch & put. Form here it is just a ten minute walk to the town or beaches.

Newquay also has a 18 hole Golf course as well as a sports centre and of course the beaches with surfing and surf lessons and the Harbour with boat and fishing trips.

Dinning out

There is a great deal of dinning choice in and around Newquay with among the more famous Jamie Olivers Fifteen restaurant at Watergate just outside of town and Rick Steins Seafood Restaurants at Padstow.
